[close] The Region 16 Social Studies Book Club offers teachers a space to discuss, share, and respectfully debate topics related to the social studies classroom and the book of the season. Participants will receive 6 hours of PD after completion of all chapter discussions. Books will be chosen by their relevance to teaching all social studies courses.

[close] This is a multi disciplinary group where we discuss literature about strategy, design, development studies, science and technology studies, cultural anthropology, social entrepreneurship and others which contribute in some way to social innovations.

[close] Welcome! We are the Ridgewood High School Social Studies Department. We collectively teach courses in: World History, US History, European History, American Studies, Art/Social History, Psychology, Human Geography, Philosophy, Sociology, Government, Law, Economics, Contemporary Issues, and Gender Studies. Use this group to find, recommend and/or review books that the Ridgewood High School staff and/or students might benefit from. Disclaimer: The purpose of this group is to encourage and facilitate reading among staff and students in our learning community.
