[close] The Kingdom of Aralia is situated in the middle of Europe. It is a safe haven for anyone fleeing conflict so there is a huge mix of nationalities. The Kingdom has three big cities and lots of small villages and towns but all the females between the ages of 15-24 from those towns and cities are leaving for the capital as the old king has died and his son is in charge. This new king is looking for a wife and every girl wants to become the new queen. And the King isn't the only one looking for a wife-most of the young Lord's, Dukes and Earls are to. But in the background civil war is brewing. The rebels are fed up with the same old rulers being in charge-people who only care about themselves. They don't care about giving the King a chance to prove he is different. They want the crown and they will get it by any means possible.

For generations, these conflicting families have been at each other's throats tying to claim the entire land of Shinem for itself. The subjects and families of both kingdoms suffer from the rivalry, its impact controlling the lives of everyone living in Shinem. Over the past few years, a rebellion has started growing within the people, right under the noses of both kingdoms. Subjects from both kingdoms have united in an attempt to overthrow the royals and return the kingdom to a peaceful state. The constant war between the Yovens and the Tivells has caused too many deaths to count and the people are sick of it. It's time for a change. Will you be the one to start it?
