[close] Our Book Club on the Daily Office will seek to encourage people to participate in the Daily Office, the oldest of all prayer practices found in the Bible. One might even say, "instituted by God, Himself." We feel that one way to accomplish this is to create an online space where people can share their thoughts, insights, and prayers that have been prompted by the daily readings and engaging in this prayer practice.

[close] Here we will help each other grow our Christian faith through devotionals, monthly readings, and through prayer.

[close] Devotionals, Bible comments, cultural analysis from a Christian worldview, books on prayer, and so forth all fall under the high-level heading of Christian nonfiction. These books promote spiritual maturity as well as intellectual growth. The group is for those who want to share the good books they have found and those who want to find good books. Authors are welcome. There is a thread just for you.
