[close] This group is for anyone interested in learning more about racial and social justice. The books discussed in this group will focus on the history, policies, and current state of inequality in the United States and the world--particularly for Black and Brown communities. Our discussions will not only center around the realities we currently face, but ways we can imagine (and create) a more safe, just, and equitable world for all.

I suppose anything goes here...we can discuss my published work, true crime, crime fiction, short stories, poetry, or anything that isn't harmful to me or fellow group members. I'll also use this group to post GIVEAWAYS or CONTESTS...but NO SPAM.

[close] There's a new drug going around, that's all the rage. They call it Magic, and it's been coming into the city in strains with all kinds of different names. They say it's the new crack, cocaine, heroin all in one. They say it makes you feel light and happy. There's a war going on for control of the distribution, between Blood and Bone. The war is raging strong, and you're caught in the middle of it.

Now, New York has become a sinister battleground for one particular killer, and a police team hunting him down, with the help of one very special detective. . . . Who will win this war? What will be the cost? And now, the students of Bellata High School, located in Manhattan, may be the victims. Can the police save the students? Or is it inevitable that these murders will move elsewhere once everyone in the school is dead?
