Εχοντας θέσει ως αίτημα ότι ο χώρος ήταν γεμάτος απο μια, απείρης πυκόντητας, θάλασσα αρν. σωματιδίων, ο Dirac προχώρησε, ρωτώντας αν εμείς μπορούσαμε να αλληλεπιδράσουμε με αυτήν την αρνητκη ενεργειακή θάλασσα.
