[close] The fence. It is the only thing standing between the modern, organized, peaceful City and the untamed Wasteland beyond. It is the only thing keeping the citizens, the humans, safe from them. They are creatures of the night, the supernatural Citizens can only dream exist. And sometimes they get in. That's where the Corps comes in. Specially selected Citizens are trained in the art of killing with one goal in mind: keep Them out and the City safe. A certain commander has other ideas, though. Why should the Corps wait for Them to come in? Why shouldn't the Corps send men to the Wastelands and eradicate the creatures before they get the chance to invade?

[close] This is a group built specifically with your convenience in mind as you manage your Goodreads experience. The feature that we promote here are the Cubbyholes; they can help you keep track of your progress in other groups and your books while keeping everything in one place and organized. Mostly, it is a self-run group meaning, you take charge. The Cubbyholes are for you individually, and you can use them however you would like. Each month we (try to) read two books from two different genres. The genres can vary from young adult, poetry, paranormal, non-fiction, etc. We hope that in this way, we can give you the opportunity to dabble in a new kind of novel. Reading either, or both, is not required. We welcome all to join in our monthly discussions, though we also have plenty of other fun for you! I am trying to revive this inactive group of mine.
