[close] The year is 2018, and the Earth you once knew is no longer the Earth that exists. In 2008, a experimental group called K.A.T.S began to wonder if it was possible to manipulate genes in order to prevent chronic diseases. When they manufactured a vaccine in 2014, the president refused to consent to human testing due to the possible unknown side effects. In 2015, the K.A.T.S. decided to go against the president's wishes and began to hand out money to people willing to be tested. Within days, those who had taken the so called vaccine began to change. Some physically, some mentally, some emotionally. It became very clear that they were no longer human. Now, in 2018, those they call mutants run a muck, the tables turning so that humans are the inferior race. Some are immune; are you?

[close] ↳ ʜᴇʟʟꜰɪʀᴇ · ᴍᴀʀᴠᴇʟ Formerly known as Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, after the founder, Charles Francis Xavier, more commonly known as Professor X. It was later named after his first student, Jean Grey, after it was destroyed in the wake of M-Day by Sentinels. The school is currently a safe haven from anti-Mutant hate crime organizations, such as the Purifiers, as well as the M-Pox induced by the Terragen Mists. As of late, there have been attacks by a rival school for delinquent mutants, villains-in-training, Hellfire Academy.
