[close] What is the reality of life along the Mexico/US border? How does our regional and national history impact the current rhetoric and how does the current propaganda impact our daily lives? This group is designed to promote discussion around the books that provide insight into these questions and that reveal the lives of those of us who love the natural flora and fauna, the diversity, and the beauty of the Borderlands and who welcome those who risk their lives on the hope of what we all take for granted.

[close] A place for anyone interested maritime history to share books and ask for recommendations. Subjects include naval history, shipbuilding, navigation, exploration, trade, migration, navigation aids, fishing, whaling, international maritime law and the related sciences. We also encourage the discussion of maritime themes in literature, art and social history. This group is dedicated to enriching our understanding of maritime history, engaging new readers and preserving historic sites and heritage.
