What we're about: This book group is for people in their 40s and 50s who enjoy reading and discussing contemporary literary fiction. We have read: Little Fires Everywhere, by Celeste Ng Golden Hill, by Francis Spufford Exit West, by Mohsin Hamid The Underground Railroad, by Colson Whitehead When the English Fall by David Williams News of the World, by Paulette Giles Commonwealth, by Ann Patchett Pachinko by Min Jin Lee We will read books that are fairly new, but have also been out long enough that library copies are readily available. [close] Book Club based in Amherst, MA, meeting every other month until further notice! We love Science Fiction, Fiction, Memoir and Essays, Biography, Historical Fiction, Mystery & Thriller, and sometimes Non-Fiction. Goodreads will be used as a central hub for keeping track of books we are currently reading and also as a meeting place for discussion (see Rules)..
