Everyone is welcome to join! La Crosse County Library is a member of the Winding Rivers Library System (WRLS), which provides many services for regional libraries.

[close] Welcome to the Marshall-Lyon County library's GoodReads group. This group is designed to engage the library's customers about what they are reading and recommending. It also allows us to share some of the best titles in our collection.

[close] You don’t have to be an English or Literature Major to enjoy great books! We want people to read for the fun of it and not worry about feeling they need to be "smart." We will be reading both traditional, and more modern classic novels. Please feel free to openly discuss any aspects of the books that we read in the forums, and remember that we're reading these books for FUN! So pour yourself a yummy beverage and let's discuss these books like we're sitting with a bunch of friends! [close] Each month a theme will be set with a suggested book for each age group (adult, young adult, 8-12 years, young children). You do not have to stick to your age group, it's just to provide a little something for everyone. Some months adult themes may be included, there will be a warning given prior if this is the case. If you add a book to the tbr please let a moderator know the key themes, genres and age range that it falls under.
