Can the two throw light on each other? Can science and spirituality come together for the benefit of humankind? Would they be more beneficial together than if either was absent? They are two sides of one coin. We need both. Neither are falsehoods. Indeed, a large portion of the scientific community has gone on record in the high-ranking science journal Nature stating their belief in a Deity. In the 1997 landmark survey, American scientists were asked if they believed in a God to whom they could pray. 39.3 percent of them said Yes.
