Space Opera includes legacy sci-fi epics, tie-in universes (Star Wars, BSG, Firefly, etc.) & softer crossover epics aimed at enticing a new generation of young people, men and women into the genre. We have space opera book discussions, TV and movie tie-ins, comic/anime/manga tie-ins, gaming tie-ins, and even discussions for upcoming Sci-Fi Conventions and LARPing. General science-fiction fans are welcome, but no arguing! We can discuss the different sci-fi sub-genres and various preferences.
