Disability Representation

[close] The goal of the book club is to widen our horizons regarding representation in fiction. Diverse fiction represents underrepresented such as but not exluded to: race, class, sexual orientation, nationalities, citizen status, gender, sex. disabilities, LGBTQIA+, etc. All books will be voted on, so long as the book is fiction and has good representation of one or more underrepresented groups it can be suggested. This group will pick a book to discuss every other month.

[close] This group is a book club and community for Disabled and Chronically Ill readers. Here we can discuss disability and chronic illness representation in literature and related media and connect with other disabled and chronically ill book-lovers. We will also choose a book to read and discuss as a group every month and a half (schedule below). All kinds of disabilities and chronic illnesses are welcome. We want this to be a safe and supportive community space for anyone looking to connect with fellow disabled/chronically ill book-lovers!
