[close]      Sanlow Creek, WA is a small town near the canadian border. Less than a population of 2,000. It's the last place you'd expect a war to be brewing. Sanlow Creek is a supernatural hub. Vampires, Werewolves, Demons, and many more yokai natured races live among st the town's residents. However, a group of supernaturals in the town believe that humans shouldn't be allowed anymore. war is brewing, who's side will you choose?

[close] In 1980, the thriller was essentially a genre without any subgenres. The concept of thriller has since expanded dramatically. Conflict Action Thrillers is a group for reading and discussing any thriller that is principally about events, and written in the third person. These are the particular qualities that force a narrative into conflict and action. Thrillers of this type are about anything in the immediate world that contributes to an epinephrine experience.

[close] This group is based on book selections discussed in the podcast "Around the World in 6 Books" (available in Spotify; Episode summaries are available at https://sixbookspodcastxyz.wordpress.com). The project is aimed at learning about the cultures, history, and conflicts of other countries. To get to learn about that a little reading [more than one book], that does not feel like homework [thus the limit on six books], is necessary. And why learn about this stuff? Because is fun... to some of us. So, if you are like me, and you like these topics and would like to travel around the world (on a book budget), then you may enjoy the books listed here.
