Coast Guard

[close] This group is primarily intended for active, reserve, retired or military veterans. This serves as a forum to discuss professional reading for military history, current affairs, etc. The U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force all have professional reading lists which are largely mandatory for active personnel based on rank/pay grade. This can provide a forum for professional discussion and mentorship. Veterans of foreign military are highly encouraged to join and offer insight and alternative perspectives. Not intended for military fiction, science fiction, military romance, etc.

[close] In the year 2009 the military branches of the US wanted to create one branch that is better than the rest. The branch was called the Iron Warriors. Few were selected to join this group and few even know it exists. Led Jason Welsh this group is located in Iran and carry out missions that would seem crazy to a Navy Seal. With that said, Welcome to the Iron Warriors.

[close] A place for Coast Guard families, friends, spouses etc... To talk about a mutual love of The Coast Guard, family, friends, and books.

[close] Looking for military spouses who are authors. I would like to get one of the service times to write an article about how we spouses don't just sit home and feed the kids while our spouses are deployed. They get a feel good story, and we get some free publicity for our books. And, maybe we make some friends along the way.
