Classical Literature

[close] Welcome, all! This is a bookclub where we can encourage one another in our pursuit and love of classical literature, and grow together in understanding. While not an explicitly religious group, many of the books and discussions will be inspired by traditional Christianity. The books included can be both fiction or non fiction, but will focus on thought provoking, influential, and pithy works.

[close] We are a group of girls from East London who believe that knowledge = power. Knowledge about anything and everything. Hence we have started our MighTea Book Club to truly empower us through education. We encourage books of all genres - as long as it can challenge our mind! Join us for a cuppa and a chat where we encourage discussions about social, contemporary issues, theories, and what inspires us. From the tales of Narnia to the works of George Orwell. From the poetry of Mawlana Rumi to the Eisegesis of Imam Al Ghazali. We believe the importance of reading a wide range of genres. We want to include an extensive variety of books ranging from: Spiritual / theological History Philosophy Classical literature You name it!
