Do you support banned book week?This group is for you. Here we read a new book every month, and discuss why it was banned, and provide reviews of books. Invite your friends! The more the merrier. [close] Banned Literary Dept. is a monthly book club hosted by Briar Road, where we vote on and read thought-provoking, often challenged books that inspire curiosity, dialogue, and foster a diverse community of readers and new perspectives; bridging the worlds of fashion and literature. Through the Banned Literary Dept., we aim to foster a community that champions creative freedom, challenges convention, and advocates for positive change.

[close] This group is for the promotion of banned or challenged books. As a reader or an author it should bother you that any book is hidden or forbidden!

[close] To give those books challenged or banned from school and public libraries arcoss America and elsewhere, now and in the past by close-minded people. We will read these books usually in the space of a week to three weeks depending on length and then we will discuss it. We will also discuss topics relating to banned books.
