[close] We read the classics and only the classics! This book club was originally organized by a few friends in Muncie, Indiana, but all are welcome to join! Our goal in starting this group was to finally catch up on all of those must-read classics on our bookshelves. For our monthly reads, we select one or more works written or published between the 1790s and 1990s. Classics are always easier to understand and appreciate when discussed in a group, so be sure to post your questions, comments, and opinions for each book. Don't feel pressured by the deadlines. You can always go back and engage in a discussion for a previously read book. **Project Gutenberg has thousands of free ebooks available for download. These are primarily older works with expired copyright making them available in the public domain. This is a great place to look for some of our selections. http://www.gutenberg.org/

[close] Want to add some classics to your list? We are reading mostly British and American "classics". Each month, we'll choose a title and publish a reading schedule to keep us on track and finished on time. (You can choose to follow it or not.) We'll also post some discussion questions as we go. Suggestions for titles are welcome! I'll create a discussion topic for those.
