[close] For the upliftment of Black people who were considered the bottom rung, the least. (No, you don't have to be Black to join :). We read books that uplift and encourage. Though we're filled with passion, there will be no erotica books, but we can read the most passionate romance novels, nonfiction, stories about relationships and love, and much more. Think of it like the R&B of reading: We will discuss classics and books by new Black or African American authors. We will champion and support new and old Black authors. Anyone can join. We need everyone's support and critiques. Even though we will discuss a variety of books, the idea is to be able to discuss real-life experiences, triumphs, and areas where support is needed. The purpose is a bonding of the intellect, and opportunities to propel each of us forward as we support one another's dreams and aspirations. This is a place to build aspirations and begin life, even for those of us on the verge of retirement. Thank you for entering the castle of Princes and Princesses.
