[close] Welcome to Black Prose Book Club! Representation is soooo important and supporting black authors who write about black characters is essential to making sure our varied and diverse stories continue to be told by us. In this book club, we will read a book by a black author with primarily black characters once a quarter (every 3 months). We will hold live shows via YouTube to discuss different important topics within the black community across the diaspora every month, with our live book discussion being on the final month of the quarter. Each quarter’s book will be chosen via a voting process where all members will be able to vote for which book to read each month out of 3 options. Make sure to vote for your favorite pick each quarter and tune in via YouTube to watch our Live Shows discussing various topics and issues, including the quarter's book! We will be updating this page to let you know who will be hosting the Live Show (whose YouTube Channel), when it will be and what time you can tune in! We look forward to enriching ourselves with these amazing black stories from authors throughout the African Diaspora!

We are unlike any other book club you’ve experienced because over here, we put so much love, attention, and care into every single aspect of this club. Down to its members, we want this book club to be the most personable one you’ve ever experienced. So no being left on read or feelings of shyness because over here, you will feel and be included. As lovers of reading, we wanted to create a safe, but fun space for all Black queens, kings, and sweet things to come in and find community within.
