[close] This group discusses Masks - From tribal clans, to Egyptian Death Masks to modern day - masks have always meant various things to the wearer/group/culture. And whether to disguise/protect identity, hide behind, hide from others, frighten, intrigue, create illusion, protect, cocoon and morph, or the everyday mask we put on based on the social and emotional dynamic it provokes. It might be a man/woman, beast, supernatural being, demon, demon, savior, embodiment, maniacal killer, Egyptian Prince, The Frog Prince, Beauty and the Beast, battle-warrior, thief, knight or Halloween costume, or the (dear Lord, NOOOOOO! Clown under your bed! Oh ya, and SHREK... Superhero, Super-Villain, Super-Spy, Were-(input your favorite here,) vamp, fey, alien, hate groups, or even this year's Halloween costume and (of course,) the snake in the Garden of Good and evil.
