[close] Welcome to the Autistic Book Club! This group is for Autistic people, as well as ADHD people and those who are wondering if they might be Autistic. (Many Autists are also ADHD.) At the Autistic Book Club we read best sellers, classics and prize winning literature and sometimes books that focus on the Autistic experience. We read and discuss books through the Autistic lens, as being Autistic means what we read may impact us differently.

I’ve set up this group for a number of reasons: To promote, read, discuss and share Neurodivergent authors books. To promote, read, discuss and share BIPOC authors books. To promote, read, discuss and share LGBTQIA+ authors books. To continually educate myself, amplify and listen, unlearn and learn from those with lived experience. To share my passionate interest of reading with others. Books will mainly be relating to Neurodiversity, Neurodivergence, Autism, ADHD, identity politics, advocacy, unlearning unconscious prejudice, learning from those with lived experience and social justice.
