Here's a place to discuss out-of-print, forgotten, obscure, and beloved juvenile literature which you would like to see republished or digitized. There are so many excellent, imaginative, timeless classics that have fallen by the wayside. It's tragic.
This is a group to share these titles with other readers, in the greater hope that publishers will take note and will reprint them for another generation, or simply because other users love vintage juvenile literature and would like to track down used copies.
All books discussed here should have been written and originally published well prior to the year 2000 (and preferrably well before that - pre-1980s especially!).
We discuss books from another era. Therefore, non-PC and dated content is likely to offend some people. We ask that users be open-minded, not quick to anger, and if they dislike something or feel offended it, that they deal with those personal emotions in a constructive and mature manner (i.e. by navigating away from the discussion they dislike). Again, users should act 'in good faith' and respectfully to all. But this is also real life - we won't be censoring global content to cater to individual tastes and needs. That bit is your part to take of. :) (It's silly that I have to say that, but here we are...)
