Mimi, or as she goes by online: Fheang, is a lifelong gamer, artist, and storyteller with a love for all things imaginative. Born in California and now living in Texas, she shares her home with two devoted German shepherds and four mischievous cats—a lively household she affectionately calls her own personal petting zoo.

Her passion for gaming began in early childhood with consoles and handhelds like the OG Game Boy, PS1, and Nintendo 64, eventually leading to the expansive world of PC gaming when she discovered World of Warcraft in 2005. Over the years, she developed a particular fondness for fantasy, horror, and psychological games. These gaming experiences continue to inspire the atmosphere and emotional depth in her creative work.

Today, she works as a freelance artist, specializing in character art, bringing vibrant personalities and fantastical worlds to life for her clients.

A devoted bookworm, Mimi is rarely without a novel in hand. Fantasy, science fiction, and occult stories fill the shelves of her personal library, with a soft spot for tales that weave mystery, magic, and a touch of spice. Her love of rich, layered worlds naturally led to a passion for Dungeons & Dragons, where she thrives both as a player and as a Dungeon Master. D&D offers her a space to explore storytelling, character creation, and worldbuilding—skills that seamlessly translate into her writing.

Though art and gaming have long been her creative outlets, writing was a dream she kept close to her heart for many years. After nearly a decade of imagining her character Aiden and the universe surrounding him, she finally gathered the courage to bring his story to life in prose. Her debut novel is the culmination of years of inspiration, blending the visual artistry of her illustrations, the immersive worlds of her favorite games and stories, and the boundless possibilities of fantasy literature.
