E.R. Munley has been crafting stories since she was able to tell them. An avid reader and advocate, she has been working for over a decade to build young readers as a high school English teacher in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia. All things considered, becoming a published author herself was almost inevitable.

Having grown up in the Baltimore Metro Area, she is an avid fan of the Orioles and Ravens, no matter the number of heart attacks or heartbreaks. When she isn't writing, she enjoys traveling with her husband (though she is a devoted indoor cat) or snuggling up with her dogs.

Lol How much time do you have? As an English teacher by day, I'm constantly reading. If we're sticking with series:

The Ember in the Ashes Series by Sabaa Tahir
Anything written by Sarah J Maas
Wicked series by Piper Lawson (honestly, any of her books)
Letters of Enchantment (Duet) by Rebecca Ross
Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris
Anything written by Rick Riordan
Chestnut Springs series by Elsie Silver
Anything written by Karina Halle

I'll stop there because I could do this forever :)(less)
E.R. Munley I read A LOT of fantasy and dystopia, so I'm not sure traveling to any of them would be ideal lol. If it's a contemporary novel, I'll go anywhere!…moreI read A LOT of fantasy and dystopia, so I'm not sure traveling to any of them would be ideal lol. I wanted to love it. I'm feral for any devil/underworld deity finding love. I'm always down for a baddie trying to live by her own terms. Add in some why choose and it had all the elements of a hit for me...

Except it wasn't. I'm not even sure what I

“She never minded the scars because they served as a reminder of her own survival.”
E. R. Munley, The Price of Broken Magic

“The hum of London was very different from that of Philadelphia: she could feel the age in the bones of the place and the quick pulse of the new lives that ran through its veins. The merger of old and new, much stronger than that of her home across the sea, enveloped her with its strength and resilience.”
E. R. Munley, The Price of Broken Magic

“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”
Albert Einstein

“My Last Duchess

That’s my last Duchess painted on the wall,
Looking as if she were alive. I call
That piece a wonder, now: Fra Pandolf’s hands
Worked busily a day, and there she stands.
Will’t please you sit and look at her? I said
“Fra Pandolf” by design, for never read
Strangers like you that pictured countenance,
The depth and passion of its earnest glance,
But to myself they turned (since none puts by
The curtain I have drawn for you, but I)
And seemed as they would ask me, if they durst,
How such a glance came there; so, not the first
Are you to turn and ask thus. Sir, ’twas not
Her husband’s presence only, called that spot
Of joy into the Duchess’ cheek: perhaps
Fra Pandolf chanced to say “Her mantle laps
Over my lady’s wrist too much,” or “Paint
Must never hope to reproduce the faint
Half-flush that dies along her throat”: such stuff
Was courtesy, she thought, and cause enough
For calling up that spot of joy. She had
A heart—how shall I say?—too soon made glad,
Too easily impressed; she liked whate’er
She looked on, and her looks went everywhere.
Sir, ’twas all one! My favour at her breast,
The dropping of the daylight in the West,
The bough of cherries some officious fool
Broke in the orchard for her, the white mule
She rode with round the terrace—all and each
Would draw from her alike the approving speech,
Or blush, at least. She thanked men,—good! but thanked
Somehow—I know not how—as if she ranked
My gift of a nine-hundred-years-old name
With anybody’s gift. Who’d stoop to blame
This sort of trifling? Even had you skill
In speech—(which I have not)—to make your will
Quite clear to such an one, and say, “Just this
Or that in you disgusts me; here you miss,
Or there exceed the mark”—and if she let
Herself be lessoned so, nor plainly set
Her wits to yours, forsooth, and made excuse,
—E’en then would be some stooping; and I choose
Never to stoop. Oh sir, she smiled, no doubt,
Whene’er I passed her; but who passed without
Much the same smile? This grew; I gave commands;
Then all smiles stopped together. There she stands
As if alive. Will’t please you rise? We’ll meet
The company below, then. I repeat,
The Count your master’s known munificence
Is ample warrant that no just pretence
Of mine for dowry will be disallowed;
Though his fair daughter’s self, as I avowed
At starting, is my object. Nay, we’ll go
Together down, sir. Notice Neptune, though,
Taming a sea-horse, thought a rarity,
Which Claus of Innsbruck cast in bronze for me!”
Robert Browning, My Last Duchess and Other Poems

“Don't you think it's better to be extremely happy for a short while, even if you lose it, than to be just okay for your whole life?”
Audrey Niffenegger, The Time Traveler's Wife

“Time is priceless, but it’s Free. You can't own it, you can use it. You can spend it. But you can't keep it. Once you've lost it you can never get it back.”
Audrey Niffenegger, The Time Traveler's Wife

“I never understood why Clark Kent was so hell bent on keeping Lois Lane in the dark.”
Audrey Niffenegger, The Time Traveler's Wife
