Erica Damon is a writer, equestrian, and artist living in Western Massachusetts. She calls herself compulsively creative, and that has led to a collection of ‘what ifs?’ in her back pocket. A self-directed degree from UMass Amherst Commonwealth Honors College furthered her exploration outside of the ordinary. That same sense of wonder weaves its way into her fiction. If she’s not writing, she’s likely out riding horses while the ideas swirl in the background

I LOVE IT!!! It was a short story and you can finish it in just few minutes. But gosh! I cannot imagine how the author was able to put in so many details where you can already imagine how exactly the story was happening in real life from" Read more of this review »

I love when books make the setting a character in its own right and The Shell Game did that wonderfully. It's not just the bad guys our leading lady has to contend with, but the unforgiving Everglades. Alligators, bugs, muck... and of course a group ...more

What an interesting turn of events this story takes! What first seems like broken pieces of various books written by our leading lady, turns out to be so much more!

Each chapter (of the narrative and of the 'books') makes you need to turn the page and

What better place for a slasher tale than at a high school reunion after party? Old grudges, old friends, old flames...

My favorite thing about this one was the dual POV, two strong women, but who will survive? Who will be our final girl?

A perfect pit stop for some slasher fun!

Anyone who knows me knows I love a quick read and an old-school slasher, and this story did not disappoint. The Burger Box became a character of its own as our poor characters tried to escape the inevitable, a
