I wrote "The Advent" in about six weeks, but it took me considerably longer to finish "The Keeper's Journal" (one year). As for how many books I've written, the total comes to 70 (which includes Deidre Dalton and my pseudonyms Deborah O'Toole and Shenanchie O'Toole). The most Gothic in style of my books would have to be "Quixotic Crossings." Ghostly apparitions appear in "Quixotic Crossings," against the backdrop of a seaside family mansion in Maine.(less)

I can subconsciously reason my way out of sitting down at the computer and creating, but I usually force myself to get into it. Once I do, I'm glad because the words start flowing and all is right in the world again. Luckily, my main motivation is writing. I love it more than anything, so it's rare when I'm not penning something.(less)
