The most surprising thing about me is that I've lived in the jungles of South America. When I casually mention that people are shocked. I'm not sure why because that fact seems natural to me.

Less interesting is that I was born and raised in California, have traveled and lived in South America, and have lived in several states and visited 38 states.

What all that means is I'm pretty opened minded and like new experiences.

FYI: most authors are sort of boring. We spend most of our time alone, sitting at a computer writing or reading. I'm not an exception.

Here are the tedious details:

I write young adult, science fiction, fantasy stories with a touch of adventure and mystery. I read almost anything as long as there's a good story. I drink too mu

I'm rather like a kid filling her plate at a buffet; my eyes are bigger than my appetite.

Recently finished Neil Gaiman's "Norse Mythology" and am currently reading John Scalzi's "The Collapsing Empire."

Here are a few books on my list: "The Reawakened", "Dragon Haven", "The Fifth Season", "11.22.63" (I've had this one for ages and keep getting sidetracked), "Ancillary Sword" (behind on this series too). Plus, I have a slew of mystery/crime novels waiting to be cracked. (less)

When you get older, that gets a little harder, especially when you're a teenager. I was already a little eccentric; I didn't want to be weird.

So the best thing about being a writer is being able to tell my stories. Now, I hope people will read them and like them enough to read more.(less)

Welcome to My New Website and Blog!

I started my first website and blog in 2005. Almost twenty years ago. In a few months, it will be twenty years! To make a long story short, a couple years ago everything went way, way south. I neglected some things, including blogging. Then a few months ago, for some reason I don’t remember, I […]
