you just proved Byron Greens point. All boys hate it and all girls (including me) LOVE IT!!!!!
I wouldn't say all girls love it. I'm a fourteen year old girl and I kind of really didn't like this book. Of course, I respect that you like it, it's just that I personally didn't enjoy the over-exaggerations of Celena's character, how things seemed to work out a little too smoothly, and the completely shocking plot twists.
I'm a girl, but I really didn't like it either, and this is usually the type of book i would like. The main character was too petty and every couple of pages i was reminded of just how pretty Celena was.
yes i agree %100. she seemed to mary sue. they made her seem like a big hero oh so pretty best at fighting, but i found she hardly ever showed her true skills. even when she was fighting for the first time in training she was rusty as hell. not to mention, if she was the 'best of her kind' then how could she get caught? it just doesnt seem right.
