Roosa, in case it is not clear The U.P. (aka "da UP, eh") is the Upper Peninsula of the US state of Michigan.
Yes, I once drove through the Upper Peninsula. The mailboxes looked different, but almost all names on them were very familiar Finnish names. But are you coming to Finland any time soon? I can offer you a bath in a smoke sauna.
