The synopsis clearly states the main protagonist is from England. Why the surprise that the book had a British feel? That is what I expected. I loved the relationship between the women, and was brought to tears by their sorrows and trials. Moyes books always pull at the emotions and revolve around the relationships between the people.
Not very in touch with Kentucky if she describes eucalyptus growing there. Impossible. Easy research.
