Thank you! I'm in Canada.
I've checked on amazon.com and it is available in paperback. Also on amazon.co.uk. If you have real difficulties you can pre-order now from my website joditaylor.online. Good luck.
Interesting, it sounds like Canada is being treated differently as Amazon.ca only has it available as Kindle. Thanks for letting me know that its just Canada then.
@Jenny, have you also noticed that amazon.ca doesn’t have the entire series in their own stock? Some of the books are sold through Marketplace which ends up being more expensive in terms of shipping. And Chapters-Indigo barely has them at all online. In store is only slightly better depending on location. No idea why Canadian distribution is so poor. I ended up buying books directly from the UK.
I hadn't - I've managed to buy all the books between Amazon and Chapters so far. Now that you mention it though I notice that Chapters didn't have Long Story Short and that its only secondary sellers on Amazon. That is really frustrating that Canada isn't getting the same distribution. Thanks for the heads up, that likely explains why my local library stopped buying them (its how I found the series in the first place). I keep trying to recommend to friends and then realize the library doesn't have them all. Oh well, they can read my copies once I figure out a new way to get the new ones!
I’ve managed to read the series through my public library both paperback and ebook and they’re very popular — have holds all the time. I decided it’s a series I’d like to own for future re-reading after I read them all. The situation with Canadian booksellers not consistently stocking them is sad.
My local library has the first 8 and some of the short stories, but like yours they're always checked out. As soon as I knew I'd be rereading them I started buying as well. Its just one of the series I wanted the ability to revisit. Hopefully, the situation with the book sellers will get better. I wonder if we could set Mrs. Partridge on them? She'd have it sorted fairly quickly...
