Very insightful, I think it must have occurred following homecoming, as it said the twin sisters had plans to hang out but Sadie instead spent the night with her current boyfriend. The only reason I think it had to have been after is because Sadie would not have made plans originally on that night as she was on the court and as you said, it doesn't make much sense for the queen to miss homecoming.
