Hello Robin, thanks for commenting, and that's really a very nice perspective! But I still think that the author should have tried to give it a different, and positive ending by introducing another twist in the story. Since Manic was the most promising character in the book, it seemed very illogical to waste him like this. But I guess it is upto author to decide that, so I will leave it at that :)
