Lennie Wynker Yes, I see where you're coming from, but it still seems strange considering that from Book 1 to 3, it was all Ceda x Emre (with a little triangle with Ramahd) and Ceda's feelings toward Sumeya were purely sisterly. There was never a hint of romance between them, except a tiny bit from Sumeya's side and it stemmed from loneliness.

Besides, what really threw me off is that by the end of Book 3, Ceda and Emre are a couple and now beginning of Book 4, they're no longer a couple and there isn't any explanation. It's doubly strange considering the characters' history. In the case of Ramhad, there was some build-up to his romance with Ceda which we don't have in the case of Sumeya x Ceda. Anyway, I still wish that Emre and Ceda will get back together in the end, especially since Ceda and Sumeya are half-sister/ blood related.
