I noticed that too.
I don't think it was an advance copy. I got it from my local library.
Wow! That one got right past me! I did catch the 50 state reference, though. : )
I noticed the TV reference and it stuck me as odd as well!
And my library copy says 50 states - I just checked. Yikes - how did I miss that one?
The book is filled with inaccuracies. One of the most poorly edited works of historical fiction. More like a romance novel about Highland Dukes.
I think I kind of picked up on the tv part, but my Kindle version had 48 states, not 50.
