Pat Camalliere I agree completely. There are little things that have special meaning to me. Readers won't know that, but sometimes comment on them from a fresh viewpoint. I wait for those moments to tell those stories. It's great fun!

Mehrdad Mozafari transmission a part of your soul to another people It is a great skill (gift) that writers has.

Bobby Underwood Thanks. I think we all do it in different ways throughout our lives, from person to person, but a writer just disperses those pieces of his soul in a broader way, through words that others whom he may not have crossed paths with in life, can read and feel and experience. There are writers I feel I know, in a sense, just from their work, and as a writer, I hope readers over time get that same sense of me, the various pieces of my own soul, so to speak. :-)

Mehrdad Mozafari You are right, almost all of us do it.
But writers do it in a special way, popular way maybe.
Special way leads them to creat a new and common world between us (readers) and them.
