I thought it might have been tied to another book series, I'll put Thieves on my reading list, please don't stop the Easter eggs because of my confusion I rather like them.

Erin wasn't in that series at all. It's an urban fantasy series. I just like the idea that it's all happening at the same time. They do mention Sanctum in Thieves - Dev tried to get a membership but Tag thought his name was too hipster and refused him.
