Actually Jake was arrested for drug possession. Unrelated to the death.
Yes, but after they arrived back in the UK, and after speaking with Jaime, they arrested Jake for connection with the murder. So, he was arrested twice. Once in Thailand on drug possession, and then back in the UK re: Rosie's death.
They did not arrest him-they brought him in for questioning. They ended up charging him with nothing, although Rosie's vomit on his pants proves that he was there when she died and that he covered up her death. Jake is not a good guy. But he is not a murderer. He's just weak and very good at making his mother feel guilt for his actions or inactions.
