How long did it take to get 10k folloowers on Goodreads, presumably all with your Underground Knowledge group? What did you do (that helped as well as gave poor returns) to reach such numbers? Thanks in advance for such help to a hard-working newbie!
The Underground Knowledge group is just a little sideline experiment to exchange ideas about infrequently discussed subjects. At first I didn't know whether anyone would be interested in it or not. It took a few years to get over 10K+ members, but again I think the reason it worked is because it's one-of-a-kind and also it wasn't coming from a purely commercial place but rather one I'm/We are passionate about. I believe people can sense when authors/artists are genuinely passionate about certain subjects.
Great advice, and thanks for realistic hope that I might be able to hit 10K in a few years if I follow this advice. I'll try that. TY.
