Hmm. Parliamentary situation kind of has a modern-day resonance. What happened to the grown-ups? I always thought recalling the Rump was fun!
Gosh - the sad fate of John Lambert and Fairfax popping up out of the woodwork plus the Convention Parliament and the return of the MPs ousted by the Rump. General Monk's journey south with no-one knowing what side he would come down on -- all these things have fascinated me.
