Roz I paid a visit to the library, don't miss it if you go to LA, I did hear another opinion that the titles and catalog info is for books that were lost in the fire. Most of the librarians we spoke to had not read the book yet.

Jean How fascinating that you actually did your research on these titles by actually visiting the LA library. Must have been quite fun to go there in person.

Roz The librarians did not know the answer regarding the titles, I do think more likely they were tributes to the books that were lost in the fire. Most of the librarians we spoke to had not read the book yet. I am recommending it to my book club for next year. I would recommend the library over most of the great museums in LA, truly wonderful.

Colleen Melanson But some of them were ebooks, so those wouldn't have existed in 1986, let alone have been lost in the fire.
