People who have seen the film compare it to Twilight, and I always tell them that if they read the book they would know that there is no way to compare the two!
Personally, I can't find anything to compare it to, so when they ask me "What is it about?" I usually say it's a book series about hope, and about fighting for change.
I don't know why people want it compared to anything in the first place, but maybe it's because they need to know what to expect. Problem with this series is, you can't really expect anything. People don't like to blindly read anything anymore.
