Lisa Mcbroom I read Lolita when I was 16. I had a wonderful English teacher who gave our class a personalized book list and that was on my list! I looked up the real Sally Horner and was amazed how she resembled Sue Lyons in the 1950's movie. You really captured Sally's lonliness of wanting to belong!

T. Greenwood Thank you. Something every girl/woman I know has experienced.

Lisa Mcbroom I love the Sylvia Plath quote I wanted to be like other girls but they were all the same....

Janet As a childhood sexual abuse survivor, I have such a viral hatred for him that to hear that book's title makes my blood pressure rise. The term Lolita is still thrown around to mean a seductive little girl. Ugh. Loved R&S.
