Okay I can explain the nook reading app through barnes and noble. It allows you to read books similar to using the amazon kindle except it can be read on anything from your tablet, a smartphone, laptop or the regular computer. My kindle e-reader I bought 3 years ago does not allow me to see the page number just the position in the text.
The kindle app works on a smartphone or tablet as well. I think they all do. I just have never used the Nook app for whatever reason. Does it show page numbers? I know the kindle one doesn't.
I plan to finish reading the musicians daughter, the mozart conspiracy, and the starling. They are all 3 on my kindle e-reader but the problem is I don't always know what page number I am on since it only shows the position in any text I am reading instead of the page number. The first book I read of yours was Emilie's Voice. I liked it so decided to try reading your other books. I tried to fix the problem by going to the settings in my kindle but for some reason it will not do what I was trying to get it to do. That is the reason I was wondering if you ever thought about making those books available through the nook reading app through barnes and noble.
The nook reading app does show what page number you are on, no matter where you are at in the text of the book. I did not know much about the kindle app being used on a tablet or smartphone as well. What I don't understand about the amazon kindle is that you can't put books on it that you have purchased through barnes and noble, but you can check out books for free through the library. I know amazon may have millions of books. Those are the only 2 reasons I thought I would give the nook reading app a try. I did not mean to make this a problem for those who currently use amazon. I worked at a borders book store briefly in the past years ago. But I think the competition will amazon and barnes and noble caused them to go out of business eventually.
