I too loved every single thing KMo wrote.. until now. I said it before and I will say it again, this book is a literary train wreck, not worthy of Karen, it is as if , Karen may be did not write this and instead an editor with a deadline thought she could follow the story line and we got this hot mess.
I've followed KMM for a long time and based on what I've seen, she never publishes a book she doesn't love. She's told stories about how she's been almost done with a book and gone and re-wrote if even tho her publisher wanted the book she wrote. That's why KMM is still an auto-buy author when so many authors I used to love and read are no longer on my radar. You didn't like Burned, I loved Burned. It's one my favorite books she's ever written.
