Thanks for this ... I couldn’t be bothered finishing the book, read the epilogue and with your help I had pretty much figured it out. What dreadful people they all were.
well, nothing hurts to have a twist in the tail. Emma being the professor's daughter made things even more complicated. and i loved it!
lol...I'm still confused. I mean, I understand what you are saying but I just can't piece it together.. And darn, I spent so much time trying to figure out 'who did what to whom'!
Exactly - that was my take, too, on the relationship between Emma and Vanessa. It was like they were each setting each other up, but for different reasons.
I agree, it confused me even after reading the last few chapters a few times. The ending ruined the book for me.
Hey guys.....and what about his first wife, Kate???? Who we thought was Vanessa/Nellie's therapist.
