That's part of the point. Quentin's gaze. He doesn't take notice of the older or unattractive women because they aren't a factor to him. They are many male characters as well that are nothing more than a name and a line or two. The difference with attractive women is that he wants them. So he sees them , notices them , and wants them. And in some cases obsesses over them. He's a depressed 17 year old jackass. Yes , it is mentioned several times that Alice has big tits. It is also mentioned several times that she has a fairly curvy , thick build all around. Just as the mentions of Janet and Julia's physical features not that they are slim.
