Wait, are you telling me Fletcher needs to unharness Ignatius to BECOME a dragon? Do you mean that massive beast at the end of book 3? So Ignatius would not get that big just being with Fletcher? I'm just trying to understand this.
A Salamander cannot turn into a Dragon while bonded with someone like Fletcher, who has a normal summoning level. Only a Drake.
Wait, wait, wait, wait. Is a drake and a dragon two separate creatures or the massive creature version at the end of book 3 is just called a dragon now because it "evolved" from a drake?
Charmander -> Charmeleion -> Charizard
Salamander -> Drake -> Dragon
