I understand if people don't like the books, but James Dashners writing is fabulous! I never read a book with such good writing O.o
If you were to wake up in a small civilization of only teenage boys in the center of an elaborate maze with only your first name as a memory, would you find your situation boring as well?
I agree with you. The writing was repetitive, the characters lacked personalities which meant I didn't create a bond with them, which meant the story dragged on. One shouldn't have to wait 100-150 pages before the story starts getting good.
I agree, but I still ended up loving the books and movies. All it does is give details and details until you don't even want to read it anymore.
